Daily Beer, the company behind Korea's leading craft beer franchise, has launched a nationwide promotional campaign to celebrate becoming the first alcoholic beverage franchise in Korean history to receive the Presidential Commendation.
The promotion will run from January 8 through January 31 at Daily Beer locations across the country, commemorating the company's recognition for its contributions to Korea's franchise industry.
On December 5 of last year, Daily Beer received the Presidential Commendation at the 2025 Korea Franchise Industry Development Awards, jointly organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Franchise Association. The award recognized the company's contributions over the past 12 years through its innovative "Beer Platform" business model, which has fostered collaboration with independent local breweries while promoting a healthy and sustainable franchise ecosystem.
The recognition represents a significant milestone not only for the company but also for Korea's franchise industry. Historically, the Presidential Commendation has primarily been awarded to major food service and retail brands, while alcoholic beverage brands were widely considered unlikely recipients due to the nature of the industry. Daily Beer became the first alcohol franchise brand in Korea to overcome this perception and earn the nation's highest honor for franchise excellence.
To celebrate the achievement with customers and franchise partners, Daily Beer is introducing the "Presidential Commendation Celebration Set" at participating locations nationwide. The promotional set includes the brand's signature Angry Bird Chicken and two glasses of craft beer, with an instant discount of KRW 2,000.
A key feature of the campaign is that the entire cost of the discount is fully funded by the company rather than its franchisees. This reflects Daily Beer's long-standing philosophy of supporting franchise partners by allowing store owners to benefit from increased customer traffic without bearing any promotional costs.
Since its founding, Daily Beer has maintained a franchise-friendly operating model that includes zero royalty fees, full corporate funding of advertising and promotional expenses, and continuous operational testing through its network of 51 company-owned stores. These policies have prioritized franchisee profitability and have been instrumental in helping the company grow to approximately 250 locations while maintaining its leadership position in Korea's beer franchise industry.
A representative from Daily Beer said, "Becoming the first alcoholic beverage franchise to receive the Presidential Commendation is a meaningful achievement built together with our franchise partners over the past 12 years through our unwavering commitment to brewing excellence. We hope this celebration allows even more customers to experience the quality and enjoyment of one of Korea's leading beer brands."
Having successfully established operations in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, Daily Beer plans to further accelerate its global expansion this year with upcoming entries into the United States, Hong Kong, and Australia, continuing its vision of becoming a leading global K-beer brand.
