Korea's vegan-certified craft beer brand Sul Easy achieved an outstanding triple victory at the 4th Korea International Beer Award (KIBA 2025), earning Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals across three beer categories.
The awards ceremony took place on April 11 at 5:00 p.m. on the main stage of the Beer Expo held in Hall B at COEX, Seoul. Sul Easy achieved the remarkable distinction of winning awards for all three beers it entered, further demonstrating its competitiveness in Korea's craft beer industry.
The Gold Medal was awarded to Sul Easy Red Lager, a well-balanced lager featuring rich caramel sweetness, delicate herbal aromas, and a crisp, refreshing finish.
The Silver Medal went to Sul Easy IPA, which impressed judges with its vibrant fruit aromas derived from Mosaic and Simcoe hops, complemented by a rich malt character. Meanwhile, Sul Easy New England IPA received the Bronze Medal for its smooth, juice-like mouthfeel and expressive aromas of orange, grapefruit, melon, and mango.
A representative from Sul Easy commented, "We are honored that our beers have been recognized for their exceptional quality and distinctive character by a panel of domestic and international beer experts. Building on our sustainable brewing philosophy and our commitment to offering a fully vegan-certified beer lineup, we will continue introducing a diverse range of approachable craft beers while contributing to the continued growth and competitiveness of Korea's craft beer industry."
Sul Easy is a customized craft beer service that allows customers to create personalized canned beers by designing their own labels with brand logos, slogans, and artwork. In addition to offering a variety of design templates, the platform also allows users to upload their own design files, making it easy to create branded beers tailored to individual concepts and marketing campaigns.
The Korea International Beer Award (KIBA) is Korea's first international beer competition and has been held annually since 2020. This year's competition featured approximately 500 beers, evaluated by more than 50 domestic and international judges across 110 beer style guidelines, with beers assessed based on balance, drinkability, and overall quality.
As recognition at KIBA is widely regarded as an important benchmark for brewery and brand credibility, Sul Easy's three-award achievement is expected to further strengthen its reputation within the craft beer industry.
