Daily Beer Launches Second Collaborative Brewing Project with KCBC Member Breweries, Introducing 'Cheongsa Beer'

Daily Beer, Korea's leading craft beer platform, announced on the 6th the launch of its second collaborative brewing project with member breweries of the Korea Craft Brewers Club (KCBC), introducing a new hop-focused beer series, Cheongsa Beer.
Following the success of last year's inaugural collaborative brewing project, Cheongryong Beer, which received an enthusiastic response from consumers, the initiative returns this year with a fresh concept centered on showcasing the unique characteristics of hops.
In January, 11 regional craft breweries from across Korea gathered once again to develop the Cheongsa Beer project. Using a shared base recipe, each monthly release will feature a different single-hop variety, creating a distinctly Korean-style Pale Ale that highlights the individual character of each hop.
Hops are one of the defining ingredients in beer, contributing bitterness, flavor, and aroma. Their characteristics vary significantly depending on their origin, variety, and cultivation methods. Through the monthly Cheongsa Beer releases, consumers will have the opportunity to experience how changing a single hop variety can produce remarkably different flavor and aroma profiles within the same beer style.

The Cheongsa Beer series will debut in February with a brew featuring Citra hops, produced by Brew One Brewing. Information on participating retail locations will be available through Daily Beer's official social media channels.
