Meet the Brewer Event to Feature Social Drinkers’ Brewer
Daily Beer will host a beer event that brings local breweries and consumers together.
Daily Beer Co., the operator of Daily Beer, announced that it will hold its “Meet the Brewer” event on September 12 at its Eulji Hospital Intersection branch in Seoul.
The event is part of KCBC (Korea Craft Brewers Club), Daily Beer’s collaboration project with regional breweries.
Participants will be served “Let’s Dance,” a German-style wheat beer from Gimpo-based Social Drinkers, which was introduced as an August collaboration beer. A brewer will also share stories about the beer’s development and brewing process with attendees.
“Let’s Dance” is a Weizen-style beer with 5.0% ABV and 13 IBU. It is characterized by banana-like fruity aromas and a grain-forward texture.
Daily Beer previously introduced the product as a KCBC collaboration, while its canned version was sold through CU convenience stores.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. on September 12. Applications will be accepted via comments through September 9. Twenty participants will be selected by lottery, and each winner may bring one guest.
An industry representative said, “There are growing opportunities for consumers to learn not only about the products themselves, but also about the production process, ingredients, and brewing methods. Collaborations between franchise restaurant brands and regional breweries can also serve as a way to introduce brewing culture to consumers beyond product sales.”
