Daily Beer, the operator of Daily Beer, announced on December 23 that it received a Seoul Mayor’s Commendation after being selected as an outstanding company in the social contribution category at the “2022 Hi-Seoul Company Festival.”
The awards ceremony for the “2022 Hi-Seoul Company Festival” was held on December 22 at the Conrad Seoul hotel in Yeouido. Lim Sang-jin, CEO of Daily Beer, and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon attended the ceremony and took part in a commemorative photo following the award presentation.
Hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) and organized by the Hi-Seoul Enterprise Association, the event was held to share the achievements of promising small and medium-sized companies in Seoul, including the declaration of the Hi-Seoul companies’ vision for sustainable growth in 2023 and the presentation of awards to outstanding companies from 2022.
Daily Beer was recognized in the social contribution category for contributing to the revitalization of Seoul’s economy through cooperation and shared growth among its headquarters, franchisees, and business partners. The company was also credited with creating jobs, increasing employment, and achieving steady sales growth through its management support programs.
Daily Beer was further recognized for launching its shop-in-shop brand Daily Chicken during a challenging period marked by the spread of COVID-19. By enabling franchisees to secure additional business opportunities according to the characteristics of their respective commercial areas, the initiative contributed to increasing franchisee revenue and was cited as an exemplary case of franchise support.
Since launching in 2014, Daily Beer has established itself as a leading Korean craft beer brand, accounting for approximately 30% of the domestic craft beer market. The company also operates one of the largest networks of directly managed stores in the industry and has developed systematic operating processes based on hands-on experience managing its own locations.
Lim Sang-jin, CEO of Daily Beer, said, “We will continue contributing to the development of the national economy as a company committed to sustainable and shared growth, not only by creating quality jobs through various forms of performance sharing and employee welfare programs, but also by taking the lead in putting ESG management into practice.”
