Daily Beer, Korea's leading craft beer franchise, announced that it has received the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the 24th Korea Franchise Industry Awards.
Hosted by the Korea Franchise Association, the Korea Franchise Industry Awards recognize outstanding companies and franchise businesses that have made significant contributions to the development of Korea's franchise industry and the national economy. It is the country's only franchise industry awards program that presents honors including Presidential and Prime Minister's commendations.
Daily Beer earned the award for its long-standing commitment to mutual growth with franchise partners. Guided by the principle that the company and its franchisees succeed together, Daily Beer has implemented a variety of support programs. These include providing initial investment assistance to new franchise owners in non-metropolitan regions such as Gangwon and Chungcheong Provinces, as well as operating its "Elite Partner" program, which recognizes top-performing franchisees with certificates and cumulative benefits valued at approximately KRW 700 million.
The company has also been recognized for supporting Korea's craft brewing industry. Daily Beer established and operates the Korea Craft Brewers Club (KCBC), bringing together craft brewers from across the country through regular seminars, community events, collaborative brewing projects, and brewing competitions to encourage innovation and industry development.
"We are truly honored to receive this prestigious award as Daily Beer celebrates its tenth year," said a company representative. "This achievement would not have been possible without the trust and dedication of our franchise partners, who have continued to support us despite challenging market conditions. We remain committed to growing together with our franchisees in 2024."
Founded with its first location in Yeouido in 2014, Daily Beer has grown into one of Korea's leading craft beer franchises, operating more than 250 stores nationwide. Through its unique beer platform business model, the company connects local breweries with consumers while allowing franchise owners to select craft beer lineups that best suit their local markets. Combined with its easy-to-operate kitchen system, this flexible business model has made Daily Beer an attractive franchise opportunity for first-time entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, Daily Beer is preparing to expand internationally through a joint venture with Singapore-based Katrina Group, with plans to launch operations in the Singapore market.
