Daily Beer, Korea's leading craft beer franchise and beer platform, participated as the official beer partner of SeoulCon 2023, the world's first global influencer expo hosted by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA).
Held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from December 30, 2023, to January 1, 2024, SeoulCon showcased Seoul's culture, beauty, fashion, and creative industries to a global audience. The event brought together influencers with a combined following of approximately three billion subscribers, with more than 500 million viewers expected to watch Seoul's New Year celebrations worldwide.
As the event's official beer partner, Daily Beer introduced a limited-edition craft beer created exclusively for SeoulCon: OH! SEOUL! IPA.
Brewed in collaboration with yeast research company BioCraft, OH! SEOUL! IPA was produced using wild yeast collected from pine trees on Namsan Mountain, one of Seoul's most iconic landmarks, during the previous summer. The 5.5% ABV India Pale Ale features refreshing pine aromas complemented by delicate floral notes, delivering a crisp finish designed to enhance the festive atmosphere of SeoulCon.
Visitors could enjoy OH! SEOUL! IPA exclusively at the Daily Beer pop-up booth during the event. Customers who purchased the beer also received a complimentary aerial-style four-cut photo experience with their companions.
"We're honored to represent Korea at an event that showcases Seoul to audiences around the world," said a Daily Beer representative. "By presenting a premium craft beer brewed with wild yeast collected directly from Namsan, we hope to further promote Korean craft beer culture and continue leading the growth of the K-beer industry."
Daily Beer is Korea's only beer platform that collaborates with more than 50 local breweries nationwide to develop and distribute a diverse portfolio of premium craft beers. The company operates more than 250 locations across Korea, including 45 company-owned stores.
Earlier that month, Daily Beer was awarded the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the Korea Franchise Industry Awards in recognition of its contributions to the development of both Korea's franchise industry and the domestic craft beer sector.
