Daily Beer, Korea's leading craft beer franchise, announced the launch of Blue Dragon Beer, the first collaborative brewing project created with the Korea Craft Brewers Club (KCBC).
Established by Daily Beer, KCBC (Korea Craft Brewers Club) is a community of leading Korean craft brewers dedicated to advancing the country's craft beer industry. Through professional seminars, networking events, and collaborative initiatives, KCBC promotes knowledge sharing and sustainable industry growth.
Released in celebration of the Year of the Blue Dragon, Blue Dragon Beer is a Korean-style pale ale developed jointly by 11 regional craft breweries across Korea. The participating breweries collaborated on a single recipe in January, creating a beer specifically designed to suit Korean consumers' taste preferences.
Over the next 11 months, each participating brewery will take turns brewing the beer. Although every brewery follows the same recipe, the flavor profile is expected to vary slightly depending on each brewery's local water characteristics and mineral composition. Since water chemistry plays a significant role in brewing, these regional differences create subtle variations in aroma, flavor, and overall character.
