Daily Beer, Korea’s leading craft beer franchise, announced that it has been selected as one of Korea’s “Most Desirable Franchises” for 2024, marking its fifth time receiving the recognition.
The “Most Desirable Franchises” award evaluates more than 10,000 franchise brands registered with the Korea Fair Trade Commission. Based on big data from franchise disclosure documents, brands are assessed on key performance indicators such as growth potential, business stability, and profitability. The honor is awarded only to the top 3% of franchise brands nationwide.
Since opening its first store in Yeouido in 2014, Daily Beer has grown into one of Korea’s leading beer franchise brands, operating approximately 250 locations nationwide, including more than 50 company-owned stores.
The company’s success is built on its proprietary Beer Platform business model, through which it collaborates with local craft breweries to develop, produce, and distribute high-quality craft beers.
Daily Beer is also recognized for its commitment to mutual growth with franchise owners. The company does not charge franchise royalties and allows store owners to customize their craft beer lineup based on local market conditions, consumer preferences, and industry trends, making the brand particularly attractive to first-time entrepreneurs.
In addition, Daily Beer fully funds its national marketing initiatives—including television drama product placements, TV commercials, YouTube advertising, and delivery platform promotions—allowing franchise owners to benefit from large-scale brand awareness campaigns without bearing the associated costs.
"We believe this recognition is possible because of the continued support from our customers over the past decade, as well as the dedication of our franchise owners and brewery partners," said a Daily Beer representative. "Over the next 10 years, we will continue striving for sustainable growth through collaboration and shared success."
Meanwhile, Daily Beer's parent company, Daily Beer Co., is preparing to expand internationally through its joint venture with Singapore-based Katrina Group, with its first Singapore store scheduled to open on April 25.
