Daily Beer will host a special brewery event where brewers and consumers can come together to explore “Potato Beer,” a craft beer made using potatoes from Gangwon Province.
On August 8, Daily Beer will hold its “Meet the Brewer” event at its Eulji Hospital Intersection branch in Seoul. During the event, the brewer behind the potato-based beer will share the story behind its development, the brewing process, and the beer’s unique characteristics.
The event will feature a craft brewery that produces beer using locally grown potatoes from Gangwon Province. Brewers will discuss why they chose potatoes as a key ingredient, explain the brewing process, and introduce the beer’s distinctive flavor and aroma profile. Participants will also have the opportunity to taste the beer while hearing firsthand about its development journey from the brewer.
“Aiming to share examples of craft beer made with regional ingredients and deepen consumers’ understanding of beer culture, we organized this event,” a Daily Beer representative said.
An industry official from the foodservice franchise sector added, “Recently, foodservice brands have been increasingly developing menu items featuring regional agricultural products to create differentiated customer experiences. Content that connects local producers with consumers can also help strengthen a brand’s competitiveness.”
