Daily Beer’s KCBC (KOREA CRAFT BREWERS CLUB), the craft beer platform operated by Daily Beer, announced on the 1st that it has selected NEMO Brewing as the featured brewery for this month’s “Ultra-Fresh Beer” collaboration project with CU.
According to the company, KCBC’s Ultra-Fresh Beer project is a unique collaboration initiative designed to help regional craft breweries with limited capital and distribution networks reach consumers nationwide. Each month, KCBC partners with a different brewery to release a limited-edition beer. Customers can pre-order through the Pocket CU app and pick up the canned beer—delivered within seven days of production—at their selected CU convenience store.
This month’s featured brewery is NEMO Brewing, a gypsy brewery known for producing “modern beer crafted with Korean ingredients.” The collaboration beer, NEMO White, is a Belgian-style witbier that combines easy drinkability with distinctly Korean flavors. Built on the soft fruity aromas characteristic of Belgian wit yeast, it is enhanced with refreshing citrus notes from Korean yuzu zest and delicate floral aromas from European coriander seeds, creating a familiar yet distinctive flavor profile.
Pre-orders for NEMO White will be available through the Pocket CU app until June 21, with pickup beginning on July 1 at designated CU convenience stores nationwide.
A Daily Beer representative said, “This month’s KCBC collaboration is a fresh attempt to combine Korean agricultural ingredients with modern beer trends, while fully showcasing NEMO Brewing’s creativity in every can available through our pickup service. Served at 8–10°C with a slice of lemon or orange, the citrus aromas of the yuzu and coriander become even more vibrant, making it a perfect beer to enjoy at the start of summer.”
