Korea’s leading craft beer platform Daily Beer (company name: Daily Beer, CEO Lim Sang-jin) achieved a remarkable three-award victory at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards, winning the Grand Prize and the highest honor, ‘Best of 2026,’ in the Non-Alcoholic Category with ‘Non-Alcoholic Life Pale Ale’ (hereafter ‘Non-Alcoholic Life’), while also receiving the Grand Prize in the Craft Ale Category with ‘Life Wheat Beer.’
This year’s competition recorded its largest scale ever, with 260 companies submitting a total of 1,118 brands across various beverage categories. Among the winners of the ‘Best of 2026’, awarded to only four products selected as the year’s top beverages in each category, ‘Non-Alcoholic Life’ surpassed all 449 Grand Prize-winning products to claim the highest recognition. In addition, ‘Life Wheat Beer’ earned the Craft Ale Category Grand Prize, further demonstrating Daily Beer’s exceptional brewing capabilities across diverse beer styles.
The award-winning ‘Non-Alcoholic Life’ is an alcohol-free beer with an alcohol content of less than 1%, while maintaining the rich aroma and complex flavors characteristic of craft beer. Unlike conventional non-alcoholic beer production methods that typically add artificial flavors to carbonated beverages, the product stands out by undergoing a fermentation process identical to that of authentic craft beer. Through an advanced Limited Fermentation Process using specialized yeast, Daily Beer minimized alcohol production while preserving the deep flavors and characteristics created through fermentation.
In addition, the product has obtained official vegan certification by completely excluding animal-derived ingredients throughout the production process, meeting the growing consumer demand for mindful and sustainable beverage choices without compromising on taste.
Recently recognized with a Presidential Commendation awarded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for its 12 years of business achievements, Daily Beer continues to build on its record of more than 50 million servings sold through its expertise in directly managing the entire process from product planning and brewing to distribution and sales.
