Daily Beer, Korea's leading craft beer platform, announced the launch of its 2024 collaboration project with local breweries, beginning with the "Meet the Brewer" event on February 22, followed by its "Tap Takeover" program.
Through partnerships with more than 50 local craft breweries across Korea, Daily Beer develops, brews, distributes, and serves a diverse selection of premium craft beers. Since opening its first location in Yeouido in 2014, the brand has expanded to more than 250 stores nationwide.
The "Tap Takeover" program allows customers to experience a featured brewery's craft beer lineup without visiting the brewery itself, providing greater access to Korea's craft beer culture while supporting regional breweries. The first edition of the program features Galmegi Brewing and Brewery 304.
To celebrate the launch of the Tap Takeover series, Daily Beer is also hosting "Meet the Brewer" events, where guests can meet the brewers behind the beers, learn about each brewery's history and brewing philosophy, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and participate in guided beer tastings.
Founded in 2014, when Korea's craft beer industry was still in its early stages, Galmegi Brewing has grown into one of Busan's best-known craft breweries. Brewery 304, originally established in Asan and now based in Seoul's Seodaemun district, has earned a reputation for producing some of the city's most distinctive and experimental craft beers.
The Tap Takeover events will be held from February 22 through March 20 at selected Daily Beer locations, including Gongdeok Station, Samsung COEX No. 2, and Samsung Station. The Meet the Brewer sessions will take place on February 22 and March 7 at the Daily Beer Yeouido Jinji location.
Additional event details and featured beers are available through Daily Beer's official social media channels.
Separately, Daily Beer continues to support Korea's craft brewing industry through the Korea Craft Brewers Club (KCBC), operating collaborative brewing projects such as Blue Dragon Beer, a Korean-style pale ale developed specifically to suit Korean consumers' tastes.
